Our Programs:

Create actionable insights and programs that enhance student experience and institutional capability.

Our model emphasizes developing a holistic portrait of your learning community and their needs before creating a program. This robust data gives you a picture of your students, their experiences, and how to better engage them.

PURPOSE

Purpose is an increasingly important factor in the global workforce. In fact, 79% of business leaders think that purpose is central to business success and are increasingly using purpose to attract and retain the next generations of talent. Our purpose programs help students identify their “why” and how to translate that into action, whether in their career, venture, or course selection.

ENTREPRENEURIALISM

The future of work demands learners be equipped with skills for critical thinking, problem solving, management, and rapid adaptation. Entrepreneurship education is suited uniquely to meet these demands while providing tools for self-agency in the modern economy.

Our entrepreneurship programs help students to develop these skill sets and institutions to increase their capacity to deliver innovative programming — creating the entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs of the future.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT

Today, learners are required to continuously develop new skills and the ability to communicate their value. However, only 11% of business leaders think college graduates have the skills they need. Our skill development programs are highly customized to help institutions equip learners with the skills necessary to thrive in high-wage, high-growth careers. We work with a national network of employer partners to build these programs to create sustainable pathways to meaningful employment for students.

FINANCIAL HEALTH

Financial health is a requisite for a happy, meaningful, and impactful life. However, more than 76% of young Americans can’t demonstrate basic financial knowledge. To increase access to economic opportunity for learners of diverse backgrounds, financial education is a necessary element. Our financial health programs are based on a comprehensive analysis of a learning community’s existing financial capability and knowledge to provide programs that meet the immediate and long-term financial needs of learners.

SUNY Purchase Case Study

Ethos identified a gap in the school’s curricular offering to provide a platform for venture creation for the talented and diverse undergraduate population. After turning to the economics department to explore internal resources for developing an entrepreneurship course, the school decided to enlist the help of Ethos to identify and recruit an entrepreneurial practitioner to create a hands-on learning opportunity for the students.

BU Co-Curricular Case Study

Innovate@BU ran and delivered workshop series and pitch competitions. After identifying a desire to diversify their program topics, Boston University decided to enlist the help of Ethos to create a soft-skill co-curricular program, Purpose Bootcamp, presented by professional purpose and communication coaches.

Institutional Program Development

Ethos was enlisted to conduct impact assessment-based research after an institutional advisor at a university in Colorado expressed the desire for more unique and interactive learning models. To support students as they endeavor to explore numerous pathways to thrive upon graduation, Ethos explored the great role that entrepreneurial education plays in teaching students skills that are transferable across a plethora of industries.
